A fun day at the Fort Worth Zoo.  Thank you Maw Maw and Paw Paw for our zoo passes.

Last week I looked out and there they were all on the front porch of their house.  They told me they were eating dinner...grass and dirt that they had put in the wheel barrow.
Last week a conversation at lunch started like this...

Brooke said, "Hey, mom you know that Bud Light commercial?"  Then she described it to me.  It was something about a girl doing something and blah, blah, blah.  I didn't hear all that she was describing.  I was thinking oh man, this is funny.  Then I asked her what Bud Light is.  She told me it is like kool-aid or something.  So then I told them it was alcohol and Daddy and I didn't want them to really drink any and how you can make bad decisions when you drink it and if you drive after you drink it you could go to jail.  So they decided it was POISON and it was not a good idea to drink any of THAT.
Who knew dandelions could be so pretty?  I sure do love them when sweet little hands pick them for me.  This Spring Luke has picked a few too.  He usually grabs the top of them and you get what you get, leaves, grass and a smashed dandelion.  Seth has given me more this year too.  I think they might be my new favorite flower.
Seth's random breakfast conversations....Hey mom, I'll meet you in heaven.

He ate his toast and eggs and then asked for some Crispix cereal.  He said I'm really in to that (Crispix cereal that is).

Signs of Spring...Brooke, Seth, Luke and I planted sunflower, daisy and zinnia seeds.  They just kept checking them that day determined that would start growing.  I am excited to say that they have checked on them and watered them everyday.  Maybe, we'll have success.

We had very, dirty toes.  Brooke, as usual, was helpful with Luke.  She gave his feet a good scrub.

Brooke is now 4 feet tall!  She was very excited.  We are praying that she will continue to be healthy and grow to be like Jesus.

Celebrating Maw Maw's birthday at Fast Lanes.  She chose to go here so that the kids could play.  Luke's first time to go bowling.  Check out those bowling shoes.  We asked for the smallest size they had.  His were  a little big.  He mostly scooted his feet across the floor so he didn't have to pick them up.  It was sweet.
Joshua is so funny.  He's making a face like Luke.  Luke can have quite the serious furrowed brow.  Uncle Jeremy (Joshua's brother is in the pic too.)
Aunt Kendra, posing for a picture (sort of).
Seth loves Jacob!!!  Seth often has us call him Jacob.

Jacob and Uncle Blake.  A very, very fun uncle!
Luke likes to put the silverware away.  He's a big help!  It's often Seth's job so now Seth volunteers to supervise Luke.

Brooke's tooth fell out during church Sunday night!  We found out that teeth are worth $1.00 at our house.

Seth decided he wants to wear his suit to church tomorrow.  It's hanging on his chest of drawers to save time in the morning.  When I was leaving his room tonight he said, " That suit looks gooood, doesn't it?".  I told him that he makes that suit look good.

Here he is in his suit.

Brooke was eating a lollipop for dessert a couple of nights ago.  She asked me if she could eat all of it and I told her she could unless her tummy felt full.  She said that when she eats a lollipop she doesn't get full like  when she eats brownies or cookies or something like that because a lollipop is just suck.  I said, "Just suck?".  She said, "Yes, just suck."  It was funny.
Making chocolate chip cookies for Friday Family Fun Night.  Yum!  They didn't last very long.

Seth is wearing swim trunks and his swim shirt.  I think he was a surfer that afternoon.  He had seen some surfing videos on You Tube.  His new swim shirt might be worn out before summer because he likes to wear it.  You know how Seth likes to dress the part for whatever he's playing.  He sure is a fun little boy.  He makes me smile.

They just couldn't get done fast enough.
During story time at the library they read books by Dr. Seuss and then the craft was to color this Dr. Seuss hat to celebrate his birthday.  Luke REALLY liked his hat.  He wore it the whole time we went to the park.  It was blowing in the breeze and he didn't want to take it off.
Seth's pose was a bow.  I think he got the words confused about a pose and taking a bow.  I don't know, but it was funny.  He wanted me to take his picture too.  I was glad to take his picture.
Brooke was trying on some new clothes.  She would put them on in her room, go to our room to look at herself in the mirror and then come back and show me a pose.  She said, "You know it's like those things in the store that aren't real and they're always doing something like this."  She had a bunch of different poses.
Opening presents.  Two things he really liked were baby Eliana and a card he got from the Starnes that played music when he opened it.
Jeff and Lori and baby Eliana.  Jeff is in Joshua's Hebrew class and we go to church with them at Wedgwood.
This is their daughter Lily from Luke's Sunday School class.  We were so glad they were able to celebrate Luke's birthday with us.  She is 9 days older than Luke.  I first met her mommy when we were nursing our babies in the nursing room at church.
He was just staring at his candles.  When I told him they were hot then he knew to blow them because he blows his food when it's hot.
A picture of the Birthday Boy!
This was a book and a notepad.  Brooke and Seth have a similar notepad.  He really likes theirs.  He likes to color with crayons and markers and use glue.
