Seth played short stop at his third game.  He was looking pretty cool with his hat turned backwards.

We're at Seth's t-ball game and Brooke is reading a book.  Seth did ask her if she would watch him play.  She watched when it was his turn to bat.  I never knew she would like to read THIS much.
This is Seth's t-ball team.  They are the Cardinals.  Coach Powell has been a very patient and fun coach.  Seth is standing on the back row next to coach.  Seth's just not sure why they let him run if he strikes out, why they're not keeping score and why people aren't out when they're tagged with the ball.  I think he's thinking World Series...not this stuff.  We keep telling him this is to learn how to play.  He's pretty sure he already knows how to play.
Seth was posing for his T-ball picture.
We were making Peanut Butter Cookies for Friday Family Fun Night.  They tasted really good.
Brooke playing at the fish park beside the swimming pool.
Raleigh and Riley (3 1/2 ) spent the morning with us.  We were on our way to play at the park.
It was a beautiful day in May and we went to the zoo.  This was one of the funny things we saw there.  This duck was beside the flamingos.  So...maybe you  wanna be a flamingo????  He's standing on one let just like they do and he has his head tucked back like a flamingo.
T-Rex was on display at the zoo.
This is inside the MOLA (Museum of Living Art).  Luke was learning a lot about the animals.
Well, at least he was having a fun time pretending.
These beautiful birds were hungry at the zoo.  The kids had a fun time feeding them.
They were pretty brave (probably the birds and the kids).
At the Fort Worth  Zoo they have a dinosaur display.  There are dinosaurs all over the zoo.  This was the first one we noticed.  Seth walked by and all of a sudden it opened its mouth like this and roared.  He ran toward me and almost cried.  It was kind of scary for a little fella.
Seth, Brooke and our friend Matthew
Brooke is doing more cooking this summer.  So she asked if she could fix dinner on a Sunday night for us.  She served us Saltine crackers with peanut butter, Goldfish and frozen fruit. We thought she did a fabulous job of fixing everything and setting the table.
Brooke was cooking so Luke wanted to cook too.  Oh man, what a mess.  But he sure did have a fun time.

It was the first week of our summer vacation.  Brooke had finished first grade.  We got to go to Galveston Island with friends.  It was a really, really fun time.  The house in the middle is where we stayed.

A week at the beach with 2 other moms, Mek who was 14 and 7 children ages 6 and under.  What a fun time1
Theryssa, Samuel (2) and Baby Kate (8 months)
Denise, Cameron (4) and Kaydee (1)
Denise brought treasure boxes and her junk jewelry so the kids could make crafts at the beach.
We had this great tent so there was some shade.  The kids played for hours in the sand.
There was lots and lots of seaweed the first few days we were at the beach.  You could see lots of jelly fish caught up on it so you didn't want to just trample through it to get to the water.
Luke is chillin' at the beach.  Enjoyin' the view.
The kids and I shared this room at the beach.  It had a big closet for Luke's pack and play.

Two of the reasons why I get to celebrate Mother's Day.

So my sweet little family got flowers for me on Mother's Day and made a card.  Each of them told Joshua why they were thankful for their mommy and he typed it up and they decorated it for me.  They had bagels made for breakfast, took me out for lunch and gave me a gift certificate to buy a new pair of shoes.  Brooke bought the Hershey's cookies and cream candy bar for me.  She knows what I like.
Happy Mother's Day!
This is my necklace made from paper hearts and yarn that Brooke gave me for Mother's Day.
She also gave me $2.00 that she had saved.
